Designer and textile artist Peter George d’Angelino Tap presents in his solo exhibition STAMINA an exuberant realm crafted in textiles where couture and tapestry coalesce into an immersive experience. The heart of his artistic practice revolves around textile interpretations of the archetypal: mythological themes, abstractions, and the deeply transformative narratives of literature that are part of the foundations of storytelling. Told and retold across the arts, these stories seem to be encoded into the fabric of our being. A codex once described by Thomas Carlyle as ‘Nature and Life [being] one Garment, a Living Garment, woven and ever a-weaving in the Loom of Time’.
